Why Slunora

Solar hardware will tell anyone on earth how much it produced today. Almost nothing tells you whether that's enough. That's what we do — and why we're named the way we are.

Where the name comes from

Slunora combines the Czech slunce (sun) with the international suffix -ora — an echo of Aurora (dawn) and the Italian/Spanish ora (hour, now). The name had to sound as natural in Czech as in English, German or Polish, because the diagnostics we're building aren't meant for just one market.

Diagnosis, not monitoring

Most solar tools show you a chart: how much you produced today, yesterday, last year. That's monitoring — data without an answer. Slunora asks a different question: is your system producing what it should, given the weather, orientation and age of your panels? And if not — why, and what should you do about it? That's diagnosis, not tracking.

What you can count on from us

The application never claims more than the data can support. Every finding states its confidence — high, medium or low — and when an input is missing, we say so plainly instead of quietly filling the gap. Economic estimates are always shown as a range with stated assumptions, never a single made-up number. We'd rather tell you less with confidence than more with a guess.
